Sample Answer:
Opinions differ regarding what makes a person genuinely happy. While it is frequently believed by many that contentment comes from within, others ponder that some other elements contribute to it as well. This essay will discuss both these views. I, however, agree with the former notion and opine that staying happy and contented does not need any prerequisites and it is plausible to remain complacent without any external factors.
To embark with, it is imperative to emphasise that the meaning of happiness varies for everyone. A person can have an extremely lavish lifestyle but does that guarantee him being content with their life as well? This means and so I believe that happiness is an inner trait. Even Robin Williams, a well-known Hollywood actor, for example, was not satisfied with his life inspite of having all the riches and fame and ended up committing suicide. Hence, complacency and satisfaction come from within a person rather than being influenced by the extraneous elements.
Conversely, another group of people relates happiness with some external factors. These may include financial stability and status. Not only do they consider only those happy who have a superfluously large amount of wealth, but also keep cribbing about not having it themselves, consequently pushing themselves towards the dark shadows of complexity and dismay. For instance, according to a research conducted by the Harvard University, the majority of the participants viewed money as the predictor of happiness and satisfaction. Therefore, contentment is strongly affected by the external materialistic elements around.
In conclusion, this essay discussed the two opinions regarding what really makes one happy. One of them says and as I opine too that happiness is intrinsic and independent of any external causes, while the other asserts that it is the external factors such as affluence and high position of a person, that determines their satisfaction and complacency.

The majority of people opine that each person is the cause of his/her happiness, but other think that some external elements influence us to achieve content.
My though regarding the subject is that every human being is not the same we are similar; our psyche is very complex and what can make one happy can upset or even scare another one. Most of the time the state of being happy likewise it’s opposite is lead with an emotion. Emotional intelligence is personal and it’s developed during the early stage of our life when we are still babies. At the very beginning of our journey in this life we are not aware and conscious of what make ourself happy, it’s thanks to the lessons from our parents, friends, family member, or in general people that take care of us more in general the experience we absorb (good or bad) that we develop it. But farer we go on with our life we became more aware of what can make us happy and we start to pursued our path rather that follow someone else’s.
Some people argued that the research of happiness for humans is not only an inner journey but its is influenced from outer factors that preclude if we or we aren’t happy such as our economies, our social status, our health state.
Personally, I agree with them but I don’t see it as excuse. I like to think of that the beauty of being unalike each other is that our journey is personal and because we have only one life in this planet, we shall do our best with what we got in order to found our personal happiness.
